Cornelia Fisher

Mrs. Cornelia Fisher, 79, of 124 Robert E. Lee Apts., died at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday at Holston Valley Community Hospital following a long illness.

A native of Hawkins County, she had lived in Kingsport for the past three years. She was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church of Rogersville.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Annie Jewel Roberts, Kingsport, Mrs. Sarah Parolee Wasilewskie, Kingman, Ariz., and Mrs. Ada Ruth McClanaha, Bakersville, Calif.; four sons, Joe Fisher Jr., Morristown, Carl R. Fisher, St. Louis, Missouri, Bobby Odell Fisher, Bulls Gap, and Harry F. Fisher, Kingsport; one sister, Mrs. Lizzie Burton, Klondike; three brothers, Sneed Helton, Adam Helton, and John Helton, all of Church Hill; one half-brother, Charlie Stapleton, Rogersville; 34 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Cornelia Fisher will be conducted al 1 p.m. Friday from The Country Church of Rogersville with Rev. Hugh E. Manis Jr., Rev. James H. Gibson and Rev. Farris A. Bundren officiating. Burial will follow in Harrison Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Frank Fisher, C. Eddie Roberts, Frankie Joe Roberts, Howard Lee Roberts, Tim Sumncr, and Bill Roberts. The family will receive friends
at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and the body will be taken to the church one hour prior to services.
