Mose Helton Dies
Sunday at Age 95
Mose Helton, 95, died at 9 a.m. Sunday at the home of his son, John T. Helton of Church Hill.
He is survived by five sons, John, Sneed and Adam Helton of Church Hill, Joe Helton of Knoxville, Jess Helton of Rogersville and a step-son, Charlie Stapleton of Rogersville; two sisters, Mrs. Sallie Fisher of Church Hill and Lizzie Burton.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:20 p.m. in Biers Chapel with Rev. John Jarvis, Rev. George Leford and Rev. Walter Drinnon officiating. Burial will be in the nearby cemetery.
