Nat D. Helton, 57, died at 4 a.m. Tuesday at his home on Route 2, Fordtown, on the Airport Road. He died unexpectedly after an illness of one day.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a. m. at the home with the Rev. Garland Litton in charge. Burial will be in Shepherd's cemetery on Pressman's Home Road near Rogersville.
Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Lula Helton; seven children: Stella and Jack and Mrs. Byrl Dugger of Fordtown. Mrs. George Roberts and Mrs. Lee England of Kingsport; Mrs. Enoch Crawford of Church Hill and Mrs. Marshall Crawford of Mattox, Va.; 14 grandchildren; five brothers, Jess Helton of Rogersville, Sneed, Adam and John Helton of Church Hill and Joe Helton of Knoxville; two sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Burton and Mrs. Nelllie Fisher of Rogersville.
The body will be removed from Huff Funeral Home to the home Wednesday morning.
