Rose A. Luetkemeyer, 87, Jefferson City, died Monday at Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Facility. She was born Sept. 2, 1903 in St. Elizabeth, a daughter of John and Mary Evers Oligschlaeger. She was married Sept. 9, 1924, in St. Elizabeth, to John A. Luetkemeyer, who died July 31, 1941.

She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, St. Elizabeth and the St. Ann Sodality.

Survivors include: three sons, Louis Luetkemeyer and Henry Luetkemeyer, both of St. Louis, Joe Luetkemeyer, Jasper, Texas; four daughters, Viola Jurgensmeyer, Tipton, Lenora Bax, Tulsa, Okla., Helen Butterfield, St. Louis, and Patricia Oidtman, Jefferson City; two brothers, Emil Oligschlaeger and Lawrence Oligschlaeger, both of St. Elizabeth; one sister, Lucy Luetkemeyer, St. Elizabeth; 42 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. Two sons, Fred Luetkemeyer and Donald Luetkemeyer preceded her in death.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, St. Elizabeth. The Rev. Alexander Luetkemeyer will officiate. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Stevinson-Mossman Funeral Home, St. Elizabeth. A rosary will be at 7 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association."
