Fred W. Luetkemeyer, 43, Meta, died Thursday night at his home. Mr. Luetkemeyer was born July 1, 1925, near St. Elizabeth, the son of John A. and Rose Oligschlaeger Luetkemeyer. He was married April 10, 1948, in Argyle, to Ramona Schulte. She survives.

Mr. Luetkemeyer was a veteran of World War II. He was executive vice president of the Meta State Bank. Until 1962, Mr. Luetkemeyer had been associated with the Bank of St. Elizabeth.

Mr. Luetkemeyer was also president of the Meta Industrial Development corp. and a former president of the Meta Citizens Civic League. He was a member of the Intercounty Bankers Association, St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Holy Name Society and St. Cecilia Choir.

Othe survivors include: His mother, Mrs. Rose Luetkemeyer, Meta; four daughters, Miss Jeanne Luetkemeyer, St. Louis, Marsha Luetkemeyer, Lisa Luetkemeyer, Dee-Ann Luetkemeyer, all of the home. Four brothers, Cobe Luetkemeyer, Don Luetkemeyer, both of Meta, Henry Paul Luetkemeyer, St. Louis, Joe Luetkemeyer, Pasidena, Tex. Two half-brothers, John E. Luetkemeyer, Chicago, Ill., Robert Luetkemeyer, Meta; four sisters, Mrs. Viola Jurgensmeyer, Mrs. Lenore Bax, Mrs. Helen Butterfield, all of St. Louis, Mrs. Pat Oidtman, Jefferson City.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at the St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Meta. The Revs. Alexander Luetkemeyer, John DeAngelis, Brendan Doyle, Ferdinand Bonn and Thomas Degnan will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Cecilia Cemetery with military graveside rites under the auspices of the Ft. Leonard Wood Drill Team.
