Jennie Mary Bullar, 88, of 1613 Edith St., Murphysboro, died Monday at St. Joseph Memorial Hospital, Murphysboro.

She was born Oct. 27, 1882, in Murphysboro, the daughter of Chris C. and Anna Clipner Bullar.

Miss Bullar was a retired store clerk.

She was a member of the Murphysboro First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include sisters, Mrs. Ruby Kepplar of St. Myers, Fla., Mrs. Edith Levinson of St. Ann, Mo., and Mrs. Sadie McBride, Mrs. Ruth Ahlheim, Mrs. Alma Bradley and Mrs. Helen Whitson, all of Murphysboro; and a brother, Chris Bullar of Murphysboro.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Murphysboro First Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Lee Pope Ward will officiate, with burial in City Cemetery in Murphysboro.

Friends may make contributions in her memory to the First Presbyterian Church.

Friends may call at the Meyer-Denny Funeral Home in Murphysboro.
