In 1880 her parents moved to Kansas and settled in Lincoln county. Thus most of Mrs. Weber's life was spent in this community.
Here she was also confirmed a communicant member of the Lutheran church. In 1898 on June 9 she entered into the estate of matrimony with Gerhardt Weber.
During the last two months of her life she was confined to bed in a hospital due to injuries suffered in a fall. She departed this life on the past March 9 at the age of 73 years, 2 months and 1 day.
The immediate survivors are the husband, Mr. Gerhardt Weber, and five children, Paul Weber, Mrs. Albert Meyer, Mrs. Emil Oppliger, Mrs. Herman Meyer of Lincoln, Miss Marie Weber of Salina; and the grandchildren, 11 in number; and three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Steinhaus, Mrs. R.J. Tarning of Lincoln and Mrs. Wm. Woller of Denver; two brothers, Mr. Ed Wiegert of Tempe, Ariz., and Mr. Sam Wiegert of Powell, Neb.
The funeral service was conducted on March 13, 1948, from St. John Lutheran church by the Rev. H.C. Lubeck, and burial was made in the church cemetery.
[From the Lincoln Sentinel-Republican, March 11, 1948: "She had been a patient (at St. John's hospital in Salina) since the holidays when she fell in her home, sustaining a broken hip."]
