She was born July 5, 1899, in Bowie, where she lived all her life. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bowie. She and Frank Stilwell were married in Jacksboro.
Survivors include her husband; a son, George, of Corpus Christi; a step-daughter, Jackie Sue Roop of Spokane, Wash.; four step grandchildren; and six step great-grandchildren.
