LUCINA SCHULTE

Lucina Schulte, 85, of St. Helena, died on Sunday, September 10, 1989, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Yankton, S.D.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, September 14, at 10:30 A.M., at Immaculate Conception Church, St. Helena, with the Msgr. Cyril Werner officiating. Burial will be at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Bow Valley. Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 13, from 1:00 to 9:00 P.M. and a rosary at 7:30 and 8:00 P.M. at the Wintz Funeral Home, Hartington.

Pallbearers will be William J. Schaefer, Jr., David Thury, Rodney Boeckman, Randy Boeckman, Alfred Hoesing, Elmer Hoesing, Dean Schulte, and Troy Schulte.

Mrs. Schulte was born on June 25, 1904 at St. Helena to Joseph and Elizabeth (Klug) Becker. She married Rudolph Schulte, on August 29, 1929 at St. Helena. Her husband died on June 17, 1965. They farmed near Fordyce from 1929-1970 and she moved to St. Helena in 1970. She attended school up until the 8th grade and was a housewife. She was a member of the Altar Society and Christian Mother's of Bow Valley. She was also a member of the Immaculate Conception Church, St. Helena.

Survivors include: four daughters: Mrs. Henry (Sally) Borreson, Yankton, S.D.; Mrs. Fintan (Mary Jane) Hoesing, Newcastle; Mrs. Arnold (Jeanette) Tramp, Yuma, Ariz.; and Mrs. William (Norma) Schaefer, Marshall, Minn.; three brothers, Arnold Becker, St. Helena; Edgar Becker, Hartington; and Alphonse Becker, Albany, Ore.; 26 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and one step great grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, Richard; one grandson, Michael Tramp; 5 brothers, Ray, Fred, Art, Gilbert, JW; 2 sisters: Elsie Bonertz and Laura Sudbeck.
