Jesse Earl Tungate of Campbellsville, son of the late Milton Tungate and Elnora Herron Tungate, was born November 26, 1917 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 6:40 A.M., Monday, December 24, 2007 in Campbellsville. Age: 90

He professed faith in Christ and attended the Feathersburg Church of God. He was a retired farmer. He united in marriage to Velma Abell January 3, 1940.

Besides his wife, Velma Tungate of Campbellsville, he is survived by four daughters: Norma Woods and husband, Edgar of Greencastle, Indiana, Wanda Wright and husband, Jimmy of Mt. Washington, Carol Ann Perkins and husband, Rev. Carol Perkins of Campbellsville and Susan Parker and husband, Ray of Columbia; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; four sisters: Olene Gaddis of Alabama, Mandy Harden, Elsie Whitley and Elmer Gipson of Campbellsville, several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

He was also preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers: Janie Farmer, Mae Farmer, Onie Tungate, Perry Tungate and Albert Tungate and one grandson: Raymond Glenn Parker, Jr. FUNERAL SERVICES: 2:00 P.M., Thursday, December 27, 2007 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Rev.
