Olene Gaddis of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Milton Tungate and Elnora Herron Tungate was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, August 12, 1920. She died at 11:25 P.M., Saturday, January 5, 2013, in Campbellsville. Age: 92
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
She united in marriage to Rev. Irvin Gaddis January 20, 1940. He preceded her in death March 1, 1990.
She is survived by one son, Rev. Gerald K. Gaddis and wife, Mary of Henderson, Kentucky; daughter-in-law, Betty Gaddis of Alabama; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Elmer Gipson of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters: Jesse Earl Tungate, Onie Tungate, Perry Tungate, Albert Tungate, Janie Farmer, Mae Farmer, Mandy Harden, and Elsie Rae Whitley.
