DELHI — Funeral services were held today at 11 a.m. at the Temple Baptist Church in Winnsboro for Nash Humphries, 93, of Delhi. The Rev. Ronald Sledge officiated.
Burial was in Welcome Home Cemetery at Grayson under direction of Kidder-Cox Funeral Home of Delhi.
Mr. Humphries died Monday at the Franklin Guest Home in Winnsboro following a lengthy illness.
Survivors include two sons, Doris L. Humphries of Choudrant and Dempsey Humphries of Delhi; one daughter, Mrs. Hazel Hoover of Delhi; one sister, Mrs. Nettie Monroe of Grayson; 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers included W. H. Ellerman, Clarence Holmes, S. J. Browning, Robert Cuave, L. V. Hendry and John Livingston.
