Burial was in Welcome Home Cemetery at Grayson under direction of Kidder-Cox Funeral Home of Delhi.
Mr. Humphries died Monday at the Franklin Guest Home in Winnsboro following a lengthy illness.
Survivors include two sons, Doris L. Humphries of Choudrant and Dempsey Humphries of Delhi; one daughter, Mrs. Hazel Hoover of Delhi; one sister, Mrs. Nettie Monroe of Grayson; 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers included W. H. Ellerman, Clarence Holmes, S. J. Browning, Robert Cuave, L. V. Hendry and John Livingston.
