Peter S. Barone, 55, of Mt. Morris, brother of Paul Barone of Dansvilie, died in Batavia Veteran's Hospital, Tuesday (Mar. 5, 1963) after a long illness. He was born in Mt. Morris Aug. 23, 1907 and attended St Patrick's School and Mt. Morris High School. During World War II he served overseas with the Army and was a member of the Harvey L. Brady Post, American Legion, also a member of Living Stream Hose Fire Co. and St. Patrick's Church. Also surviving are his wife Mary; four other brothers, Salvatore of Syracuse, Anthony and Joseph of Mt. Morris, Carl of Rochester, a son Joseph Barone at home; three sisters, Mrs. Florence Matteson and Mrs. Jennie Provino, both of Mt Morris and Mrs. Mary Leta of Rochester. Friends may call at the Shepard Funeral Home. A prayer service will be conducted at 8:30 a.m. Saturday followed by Requiem Mass in St. Patrick's Church at 9 a.m. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
