Mary S. Herr, 98, of 595 Biglervile Rd., Gettysburg, formerly of 1399 Bullfrog Rd., Fairfield, died Friday, Feb. 20, at the Gettysburg Hospital.
Born September 29, 1899 in Gettysburg, she was the daughter of the late William F. and Minnie H. Trostle Carbaugh.
She was married to the late John J. Herr.
Mary was a member of Incarnation United Church of Christ, Emmitsburg.
Surviving are brother, Charles Carbaugh of Gettysburg; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by son, Ray E. Herr Sr. in 1993, son Kenneth R. Carbaugh, and brother, Roy Carbaugh.
Interment was in the Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Gettysburg.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Peters Funeral Home, Gettysburg.
