Wyman T. Harris

Bossier City, LA. - Services will be conducted at Hill Crest funeral Home Chapel, Hwy 80 E., Bossier City-Haughton, for Mr. Wyman T. Harris, 71, of Bossier City, Wednesday, August 5, 1992 at 2:00 p.m. Officiating will be Rev. P.O. "Sonny" DePrang, Jr. Interment will be at Hill Crest Memorial Park with military honors provided by the 12th District Department of Louisiana VFW Honor Guard. Visitation will be from 11:00 until 9:00 on Tuesday at the funeral home.

He entered into rest Sunday, August 2, 1992 following a lengthy illness. Mr. Harris was a native of Illinois and had been a resident of Bossier City since 1967. He retired from the U.S. Army, having served in WWII, the Korean Conflict and Vietnam.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Ethel M. Harris; seven daughters, Judy Warke of Benton, Mary McManus of Bossier City, Linda Hofmann of Hillsboro, Mo. Louisa Rhodes of Taylorville, Il., Juanita Lister of Aurora, Co. and Evelyn Bertrand of Salt Lake City, Ut. and their families; two sons, Jackie Collins of Sherman, Il. and Kenneth R. Collins of Springfield, Mo. and their families; four sisters; three brothers and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
