SERVICES HELD TODAY FOR MRS. GOOKIN, 87
Services were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock for Mrs. Lucy Gookin, 87, at the Woodman Funeral Home in Russell.
Mrs. Gookin died Sunday morning following a lingering illness. The Rev. Dale Powell officiated at the services with interment in the Russell cemetery.
Surviving are her husband, Mark of Russell and two daughters, Mrs. Pearl Burr of Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. Blanche Kozak of Steele City, Nebr., and two sisters, Mrs. Viola Hays of Scottsbluff, Nebr., Mrs. Lorena Baughman of Russell and a brother, Ed Yerty of Albia and four step-children.
