Mrs. Margaret Hurdle died July 2. She had been very ill a long time and would have been 80 years old in August. She had spent nearly all her married life in the home where she died. Reared a large family of boys and girls. Her husband and one son died several years ago. The children living are: Mrs. Ida Boswell, Mrs. Ella Curl, Will, Cooper and Jesse of Mt. Pleasant, Gid Hurdle and Miss Lily Hurdle of this place. Rev. J. P. Horton of Collierville conducted the funeral services, Rev. C. S. Wales of Blue Mountain assisting.
