GUNN, Helen F., 84, of Chesterfield, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 30, 2008.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, George A. Gunn Sr.; caregiver and devoted son, George A. Gunn Jr.; daughters, Brenda G. McDonald and her husband, J. Timothy, and Barbara Ann Keefe; son, Bruce Gunn and his wife, Anderea; sister, Elsie G. Dane and her husband, Thomas; brothers, John Morris Gwyn, Bernard Lee Gwyn and his wife, Gerda; grandchildren, Wesley and Chris Starnes, Ashley and Heather Keefe, Richard "Rocky" Alexandra, Randy Gunn, Robin Puryear, Theresa Napier, Brian and Stefan Gunn; eight great-grandchildren.

Helen comes from a family of 13 children raised in Gloucester.

The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday at Morrissett Funeral Home, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (Rte. 10). Her funeral service will be held 2 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Dale Memorial Park.
