Samuel L. Gwyn Dies In Hospital
Naxera - Samuel Level Gwyn, 75, died Saturday in a Peninsula hospital after an extended illness.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Thomas E. Dame Jr., of Naxera, and Mrs. George Gunn, of Richmond; nine sons, Boyd Gwyn, Tabb Gwyn, both of Naxera; Saint Gwyn, Faye Gwyn and Joseph Gwyn, all of Gloucester; Bernard Gwyn of Newport News; Jessie Gwyn of Coke; Statesman Gwyn of Port Richmond and John Gwyn of Washington; five sisters, Mrs. Willie Powers and Mrs. Willie Deal of Naxera; Mrs. Thad Teagle and Mrs. Joe Robins of Bellamy and Mrs. Jack Sinclair of Maryland; and 16 grandchildren.
The body is at Hogg Funeral Home. Arrangements were incomplete Saturday night.
