Funeral services were conducted from the First Baptist Church Sunday for Mrs. Henrietta Reece by Rev. Luher Nelson. Music was furnished by Mrs. E. B. Hunt, Mrs. Earl Nolt, Warren Townsend, and Mrs. Nichols.

Henrietta Elizabeth Cobb Reece died at her home in Savannah, April 27, at the age of 87. She was one of 13 children of Harriette and Amos Cobb and was born in Dorsetshire, England, March 30, 1863. She came to America in February, 1874, and located near Savannah. On June 27, 1883, she was united in marriage to Joseph D. Reece. With the exception of seven years spent in Kansas, she has resided in Andrew County all her life. When a young girl she became a member of the Mount Vernon Baptist Church, later transferring her membership to the First Baptist Church here.

Mr. Reece preceded her in death on June 12, 1916. Surviving are seven children: Dr. C. L. Reece, of Savannah, Mrs. Pearl Russell, of St. Joseph, Darl Reece, of Savannah, Lloyd Reece, of Mount Vernon, Margaret Reece, of Savannah, J. Willard Reece, of Savannah, and Mrs. Alice Kennedy, of Denver, Colo. Fourteen grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Amy Ralph, of Savannah, Mrs. E. H. Williams, of Denver, Colo., two brothers, W. B. Cobb, of St. Joseph and A. H. Cobb, of Payette, Idaho, also survive.
