Mr. Weems

Andrew Jack Weems, 68, Rt. 1, Tuscumbia, died at Colbert County Hospital Monday at 2:10 p.m.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Morrison-Elkins Chapel, Tuscumbia, with Rev. Burlie Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Donald Cemetery, Morrison-Elkins directing.

He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Grace Weems, Rt. 1, Tuscumbia; two sons, Howard C. Weems, Rt. 3, Florence, James Weems, Florida; a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Guin, Florida; four brothers, Ted Weems, Town Creek, Percy Weems, Leighton, Ulyses Weems, Courtland, Vernon Weems, Decatur; three sisters, Mrs. Edna Isbell and Mrs. Irene Crosswhite, both of Tuscumbia, Isbell Roden, Hartselle, 11 grandchildren.

Nephews will serve as bearers.

Mr. Weems was a retired farmer and TVA employee and a member of the Baptist Church.
