Mrs. Margaret Donovan, 72, 1827 Tennyson, Kansas City, KS, died yesterday afternoon at Bethany hospital. She is survived by two sons, Joe G. Donovan, 1952 Tennyson, and Clyde E. Donovan, route 3 Leavenworth; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She had been a local resident for the past twenty years. Funeral services will be at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning from the R.A. Fulton chapel. Burial will be at Havensville, Kansas. The body will lie in state at the funeral home from Sunday noon until service time.

Mrs. Margaret Donovan, 72, passed away at her home in Kansas City Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Donovan formerly lived north of Havensville and is an aunt of Irwin Gallagher. Funeral services were held in Kansas City Tuesday morning and the body was brought to Havensville for burial Tuesday afternoon. Pall bearers were old neighbors: Edward and Frank Flaherty, Will McNally, Joe McNeill, James and John Cline.
While Maggie was in the hospital following the birth of her son Joseph Grattan Donovan, her husband, Joseph Edward Donovan was killed in a railroad accident near Wheeling, West Virginia where the family was living at the time. Maggie moved to Havensville, KS shortly after the death of her husband to be near her parents.
