Mrs. Gertrude Mutter, 77, of Swords Creek, Va., was dead on arrival at a Richlands hospital Thursday morning following a long illness.
Born in Russell County, she was a daughter of the late Floyd and Amanda McGlothlin Richardson.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Maude Sisk of Raven, Va.; two half-sisters, Mrs. Margie Mullins of Richlands and Mrs. Macy Kelley of Mansfield, Ohio; five half-brothers, Marvin Richardson, Jay Richardson, Ernest Richardson and Stewart Richardson, all of Swords Creek and Sherman Richardson of Cedar Bluff; twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Tazewell County Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carl Robinson, Rev. Ancil Childress and Rev. Harley Dye officiating. Entombment will follow in the Richardson Family Cemetery at Pine Creek.
