Mrs. Caroline (Buffard) Daniels, wife of Samuel Daniels, died at home, Cooper Station, this morning after a lingering illness, aged 55 years and 17 days.
The deceased was born in this city April 25, 1869, a daughter of Charles and Selma Buffard. She was united in marriage to Samuel Daniels in this city July 3, 1886.
Besides her husband, she is survived by three children; August W. Daniels, of Venice; Mrs. Selma A. Meredith, of New Baden, and John J. Daniels, of this city; two brothers, August Buffard and George Kirchner, the latter of Collinsville, and one sister, Mrs. Margaret Siebecker.
She was a member of the local Rebekah Lodge, Court of Honor and Woman's Relief Corps.
