Mrs. Selma Buffard Kirchner, 86 years old, died at 11 o'clock this morning at the home of her daughter Mrs. Samuel D. Daniels near Priester's Park. She was taken ill about a week ago, death being due to her advanced age.
She was born in Germany on May 2, 1835, and she was twice married. Her first marriage was to Gust Buffard and her second to John Kirchner. Both husbands prededed her in death.
She leaves these children: August Buffard, Mrs. William Siebecker and Mrs. Samuel D. Daniels in Belleville and George Kirchner in Collinsville. She also leaves a large number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
