Adeline M Croyle, 88, of 1035 Orr Ave., Kittanning, died at 3 a.m. Thursday, Aug 25, 1983, in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital.
Born Feb 16, 1895, in Washington Township, she was a daughter of John and Barbara Allen Hooks. She was a member of the Brush Valley Church of the Brethren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred D. Croyle, in 1962.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Louis (Nellie) Bussy, Mrs. Merle (Maxine) Cogley and Winifred Croyle, all of Kittanning, and Mrs. Barbara Szalankiewicz of Buffalo, N. Y.; two sons, Glen Croyle and Fred D Croyle, both of Buffalo; one brother, Christopher Hooks of Texas; one sister, Mrs. Mabel Roofner of East Brady; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
CROYLE - Friends of Adeline M. Croyle, 88, of 1035 Orr Ave., Kittanning, who died Thursday, Aug 25, 1983, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the J.R. Kennedy Funeral Home, Kittanning, where funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday. Officiating will be the Rev. Thomas Kidder, pastor of the Brush Valley Church of the Brethren. Burial will follow in the Brush Valley Cemetery. Arrangements by Kennedy.
