Mrs. Goldie M. Bowser, 84, of Worthington died Monday afternoon at Clinton Hospital, Clinton, Md. She was born Feb. 20, 1893, in Washington Twp. (Armstrong County) to John A. and Barbara Ellen (John) Hooks. She was a member of the Brush Valley Brethren Church of Adrian where she was a deaconess. She also was a member of the Worthington Senior Citizens group. Her husband, Wilbert J. Bowser died Dec. 18, 1968. Surviving are a son, Roy H. of Worthington; daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Crissman of Worthington RD 1,
Mrs. Lois Jack of Bradleywine, Md., Miss Margie Bowser of Worthington; brothers, Christopher Hooks of Jordanton, Tex., Homer Hooks of Adrian RD 1; sisters, Mrs. Adeline Croyle of Kittanning, Mrs. Mabel Roofner of East Brady RD 1; 17 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren; and five great, great grandchildren. A daughter also preceded her in death. BOWSER - Funeral arrangements for Goldie M. Bowser, who died May 30, 1977, being handled by the Walter G. Snyder Funeral Home, Cowansville, are incomplete.
