H. Chase Moulton, 74, 1964-9th East, died Thursday, 5:15 p.m. at his residence of a heart ailment.

Born May 16, 1884, Heber, to Joseph and Jensene Jensen Moulton. Married Lillian Cummings Sept. 27, 1911, Salt Lake Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Owner-manager Moulton Garages in Heber, Park City until 1938; moved to Salt Lake City, started work as plumbing contractor. Retired 1953.

Survivors: widow; five sons, six daughters, Mrs. Neal (Norma) Montgomery, Heber; Mrs. Marden (Fern) Chapman, Mrs. Delmer (Evelyn) McDougald, Mrs. Ronald (Mardene) Folkerson, E. Jay, Rex, all Salt Lake City; Mrs. Floyd B. (Deaun) Weed, Montpelier, Idaho; Mrs. James A. (Maxine) Owen, Portland, Ore.; Floyd, Denver; Duane, on LDS Mission to Samoa, Dale, with U.S. Army in Far East; 30 grandchildren; five brothers, five sisters.

Funeral Monday 2:30 p.m. Granites LDS Stake Tabernacle, 2005-9th East. Friends call 4330 S. Redwood Rd., Sunday 6-9 p.m., Monday at Tabernacle after 1 p.m. Burial Salt Lake City Cemetery.
