From The Daily Herald (Provo, Utah) - Tuesday, March 25, 1975:

HEBER CITY - Funeral services for Lilly "Van" Moulton Johnston, 90, of Heber City, who died Monday, March 24, 1975 in the Wasatch County Hospital after a long illness, will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Olpin Mortuary.

Mrs. Johnstone was born March 27, 1884 in Heber City to Joseph and Annie Katrina Jensen Moulton. She married Edward B. Johnstone in 1909 and he died in 1918.

A graduate of University of Utah, Mrs. Johnstone taught elementary, junior high and high school classes in Wyoming, Idaho, and Utah. She also had worked for Holy Cross Hospital and University of Utah Library. She was a member of the University of Utah Women's Club and of the LDS Church.

Survivors include two brothers and two sisters, Francis Moulton, Mrs. L.E. (Violet) Holdaway, and Mrs. Lyle Pruett, all of Heber, and Thomas J Moulton, Klamath Falls, Ore.

Friends may call at the mortuary Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday prior to services. Burial will be in Heber City Cemetery.
