Mrs. Dora Blanche Ruffner, 78, of Kittanning RD 6 (Garretts Run), died Sunday in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital here. Mrs. Ruffner was born Sept. 16, 1893 in Adrian, a daughter of Jacob and Amanda (Neale) Lasher. The widow of A. C. Ruffner, she is survived by daughters Mrs. Vesta Croyle, West Kittanning, and Mrs. Paul (Marian) Crissman, Manorville; a son John E. Ruffner of Dayton RD2; sisters Mrs. Nora Croyle, Kittanning RD 5 and Mrs. Mabel Hooks, Kittanning RD 3; a brother, Robert M Leasure, Kittanning; seven grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. RUFFNER — Friends of Mrs. Dora Blanche Ruffner, who died Jan. 2, 1972, are being received in the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, S. McKean St. at Jacob, from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 p.m. today and Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, conducted by the Rev. R. A. Taylor of Franklin Church of God, assisted by the Rev. Gerald Chelton, pastor of Limestone Church of God. Burial will be in Limestone Church of God cemetery. Arrangements by F. Duane Snyder.
