Andrew C. Ruffner, 63, Kittanning RD 1, died at 12:30 a.m. today (March 21, 1959) at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, where he had been a patient for one week. Mr. Ruffner was born in East Franklin Twp. November 22, 1895, a son of John S. and Mary Ann (Crissman) Ruffner. He was a carpenter by trade at Pittsburgh Plate Glass Co. Surviving are his wife, Blanche (Lasher) Ruffner; two daughters, G.I. (Vesta) Croyle of Adrian and Mrs. Paul B (Marion) Crissman of Manorville; a son, .John E. of Bryan; two sisters, Mrs. G. A. Reeseman of Kittanning and Mrs. Stella Wolfe of Adrian; a brother Henry, of Manorville; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. A sister, Mrs. Melissa Klingensmith, died in 1938. Friends will be received at Dornan funeral home in Ford City after 7 tonight. Chapel hours will be held at the funeral home from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. land from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday Services will be held at Limestone Church of God at 2 p.m. Tuesday with Rev. Raymond Taylor, pastor of the church, officiating. The body will lie in state at the church from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday. Interment will be made in Limestone church of God cemetery,

Funeral Services for Andrew C. Ruffner, who died Saturday in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, were held yesterday at Limestone Church of God. Rev. Raymond Taylor, pastor of the church, and Rev. James Slingluff, pastor of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Adrian, officiated. Walter Stoops, Paul Heilman, Leard Heilman, and Russell Hawk sang two Hymns: "Softly and Tenderly Jesus is Calling" and "God Knows." Mrs. Wayne Owen was the accompanist. Pall bearers were O.M. Schrecengost, Clark Ruffner, Clair Anthony, Victor Lubtka, Frank Lux, and Clyde Bell. Interment was made in Limestone Church of God Cemetery.
