Mary E. Harter, 79, 711 W. State, died Monday at home. Born in Whitley County, she lived in Fort Wayne for the past 35 years and was a member of the First Church of God.

Surviving are 5 sons, Jesse, Clifford, Robert and Ross, all of Fort Wayne; 3 daughters, Mrs. Blanche York, Mrs. Golda Keener and Mrs. Eleanor Zollinger of Fort Wayne; a sister Mrs. Elsie Gaerte, Columbia City; a brother, Omar Zumbrun, Fort Wayne; 44 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. Funeral Thursday at First Church of God. Burial, Christian Chapel Cemetery. 12-15-1958
