Mrs. Mary D. Lasher. Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Lasher, 86-year-old Adrian resident who died Aug. 28, 1958, were held Sunday afternoon in Montgomeryville Baptist Church. Rev. Silas B. Acklin, pastor of Linesville Baptist Church, and Rev. Melvin Rennie officiated. Accompanied by Mrs. Warden Wyant, Mrs. Melvin Rennie sang "Abide With Me" and "No Night There." Casketbearers were Audley Forringer, Fred and James Lasher, Thomas Serene and William and David Skinner. Burial was made in the Montgomeryville Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Mary D. Lasher, 86, of Adrian, died at 11:30 p.m. Thursday (Aug 28, 1958) in the home of a daughter, Mrs. William Skinner, Adrian. She was the widow of George Lasher. She was a member of Montgomeryville Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons, Audley, of Kittanning RD 5, and Thomas F., Adrian; two daughters, Mrs. Irene Cramer of McKeesport and Mrs. Nancy Skinner of Adrian; three brothers, James M. Frick of Adrian, Rufus S. Frick of Kittanning and Chambers F. Frick of Adrian; one sister, Mrs. Florence Thompson of West Kittanning; 18 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Snyder funeral home, Cowansville after 7 p.m. today and Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon and 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

Mrs. Lasher died Thursday in the home of a daughter, Mrs. William Skinner of Adrian. Officiating the services will be Rev. Silas B. Acklin, pastor of Lyonsville Baptist Church, and Rev. Melvin Rennia, pastor of the Montgomeryville church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
