Nancy Skinner, 82, of The Presbyterian Home in Kittanning died Tuesday at the home. She was born Feb. 12, 1905 in Adrian to George and Mary (Frick) Lasher. She was a member of Montgomeryville Baptist Church, the Woman's Missionary Society of the church and the Adrian Area Home Extension. She had been postmaster for 30 years in Adrian. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. George E. (Avanelle) Crissman of Kittanning RD 8, Mrs. Harold O. (Ruth) Fleming of Ford City, Mrs. Myron (Lois) Ament of Bethel Park and Mrs. Earl (Linda) Schrecengost of Ford City RD 2; two sons, William P. Skinner of Kittanning RD 3 and the Rev. David R. Skinner of Williamsport; 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William in 1984; two sisters, Alta Forringer and Irene Cramer; and two brothers, Audley Lasher and Thomas Lasher. SKINNER-Friends of Nancy Skinner, 82, of The Presbyterian Home in Kittanning who died Tuesday May 26, 1987, will be received at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at the Montgomeryville Baptist Church with her pastor, Rev. Michael Sutberry and the Rev. Fredrick Young, pastor of The First Baptist Church of Kittanning, officiating. Burial will follow at Montgomeryville Baptist Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Mongomeryville Baptist Church. Arrangements by Snyder-Crissman.
