Saturday, February 21, 1976

Nelson K. Duckworth, of Denver, passed away Feb. 18, 1976 at the Mountain View Nursing Center after a long illness.

He was born near Russell, Iowa Sept. 29, 1900 to Oliver and Anna Goltry Duckworth. He lived for several years in North Platte, Nebr. and moved to Denver in 1939. He was married to Ellen Jane Freeze on June 14, 1923.

He served in the military in France during WW I. He retired from the trucking industry after 50 years.

Survivors include his wife, two daughters, Betty Nugent of Denver and Shirley Moyle of Estacada, Ore., five grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 23 at Runyon-Stevenson Chapel of the Angels Mortuary at 6425 W. Alameda Ave., Denver with burial immediately following at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver.
