Obituary: "Cecil Marion Ross, 62, of Georgetown, Route1, a former Danville resident for 40 years died unexpectedly at his home about 9:30 A.M. Wednesday (November 7, 1862) of heart attack. He had lived near Georgetown the past three months. Born April 13, 1900, at St. Joseph, he was a son of Irvin and Leona Brown Ross. He resided several years in Sidney before moving to Danville in 1922. He married in 1918 in Covington to Beulah Potts who survives.

Mr. Ross was a maintenance man at the Fred W. Amend Company for 21 years before he retired in 1955 because of ill health. He was a member of the Sidney Nazarene Church, Bakers Local 420, and the Georgetown Sportsman's Club. His hobbies were hunting and fishing.

Surviving besides his wife are six children, Glenn, Bill and Gene all of Danville; Mrs. Lucille Zotz and Mrs. Wanda Mascari both of Danville, and Mrs. Linda Wilson of Westville. Also, two brothers, Raymond of Danville and Lilbert of Catlin; two sister, Mrs. Lillie Epperson of Danville and Mrs Opie Stevens of Catlin; his mother, Mrs. Leona Farnsworth of Danville, and 19 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, two daughters and two brothers.

The body is at the Edmund & Dickson Funeral Home where friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Thursday and 3-5 and 7-9 P.M. Friday. Funeral services will be at 2 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. The Rev. John Dewey will officiate at the funeral services."
