Frank Robert Lamb was born May 29, 1932, in a tent at Waterfall Hollow near Rocky Ford, Oklahoma, to William Thomas Lamb and Noba Estel Alma Jane (Henson) Lamb. He departed this life on Monday, July 5, 2021, at his home in Twin Oaks, Oklahoma, at the age of 89 years, 1 month, and 6 days. He was lovingly surrounded by his family.

Frank went to school in Oaks, Oklahoma until the 10th grade when he quit to go to work on the family farm. He served his country proudly in the United States Army from 1953 until 1955. He then re-entered military service in the United States Air Force from 1957 - 1961.

On October 22, 1955, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Frank Robert Lamb and Ruby Maxine Cantwell were united in marriage. The couple had been married for over 65 years. He lived in the Rocky Ford and Lowery areas before making Twin Oaks his home over 45 years ago. Frank worked at Zurn Industries in Tulsa from 1961 to 1976. He then went to work at Pryor Commercial Fabrication in Pryor, Oklahoma from 1976 until his retirement in 1994.

Frank enjoyed fishing and was an honest person that worked hard to provide for his family. He was generous and always willing to help others. Frank loved his wife and family above all. He treasured every moment spent with them and thoroughly enjoyed sharing stories about his life experiences with his grandchildren. He was very much loved and will be missed dearly.

Frank is survived by: his loving wife, Ruby, of the home; 1 daughter: Marla Roberts and husband Allen of Oaks, Oklahoma; 1 daughter-in-law: Pam Lamb of Chewey, Oklahoma; 3 granddaughters: Toni York and husband Mitchell of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Jolene Roberts and Tony Henson of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, and LaCosta Napier and husband Andy of West Fork, Arkansas; 11 great grandchildren: Charles Allen York and wife Amy, Victoria Cook and Josh Cook, Haydon Cook, Ariel Peters, Taylor Peters and Brendon Hyde, Shalynn Napier, Trenton Napier, Grant York, Ema York, Kenley York, and Taydon Peters; 1 sister: Sarepta Lamb of Anderson, Missouri; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; 1 son: Terry Lamb; 4 sisters: Gracie Cantwell, Sarah Sanderson, Clara Nichols, and Beulah Mahan; 7 brothers: Enoch Lamb, John Lamb, Silas Lamb, Kenneth Lamb, Jack Lamb, Ross Lamb, and Bill Lamb; 1 granddaughter: Lanae Peters.

Graveside services were held 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 8, 2021, at Long Prairie Cemetery near Kansas, Oklahoma. Brother Sam Andrews officiated with military honors rendered by the Grove Veteran's Ritual Team. Services were entrusted to the Locust Grove Funeral Home.
