Bio

I live in the great state of Oklahoma and mainly use findagrave.com for research and creating listings of family, friends, acquaintances and fellow alumni members. I am also very community minded and take an interest in local history.

I try to make my listings as nice and complete as possible. I enjoy paying tribute in this fashion to people I knew, loved and admired. I have no problem transferring the maintenance of a listing to a family member of the deceased, UNLESS I am also a relative, in which case I won't transfer, but will be glad to assist in any way I can.

My paternal family genealogy has been traced back to around 1638. I do a little genealogical research for my own family other than finding resources and records online that I can link together to assist others who are searching.

I enjoy epitaphs, numerology and other tidbits of information that can best be found on gravestones or in biographical research. For example, my grandparents headstone yields some unusual numerology: She was born in 1910, died July 10. He was born May 10 and died August 10. He was born in 1898, she died in 1998. One particular aunt of mine was born December 19, 1919 and lived 87 years and 87 days. Too strange to be coincidence.

This kind of stuff intrigues my mind and I take these oddities as further proof of a living God who has a plan for each life. Now you have a little insight as to how my mind works and why I have spent a considerable amount of time in cemeteries during my lifetime. Some of you understand this far too well. Thanks for stopping by my profile. Don't hesitate to say hello and if I can be of assistance to you, just feel free to ask!
