Clara Ester Nichols, 69, of Colcord, Okla., died Sept. 25, 2012, at Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa, Okla.
She was born Oct. 14, 1942, in Rocky Ford, Okla., to William and Noba Estle Lamb.
She had worked for Simmons Foods for 16 years and was a member of Colcord Church of Christ. She enjoyed genealogy, quilt making, flowers and gardening.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Otis Nichols and Eric Nichols; a grandchild; four sisters, Grace Cantwell, Sarah Sanderson, Beulah Mahan and Ruthie Lamb; and seven brothers, Enoch, Kenneth, Charlie, Jack, Ross, Henry and Bill Lamb.
She is survived by two sons, Kyle Nichols and Jackie Nichols and wife Bridget, all of Colcord, Okla.; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Sarepta Stephens of Anderson, Mo.; and three brothers, John Lamb of West Siloam Springs, Okla., Silas Lamb of Oaks, Okla., and Frank Lamb of Twin Oaks, Okla.
Funeral was Sept. 28, 2012, at Colcord Church of Christ in Colcord with Brother Larry Ellis officiating.
Burial was at Row Cemetery in Colcord.
