Lizzie was the daughter of William M. Chambers and Clara B. Anderson Chambers.

Lizzie married William Alonzo "A.L." McDaniel, Sr. on June 8, 1882 in Bremond, Robertson County, Texas. They had eleven children:
1--William Davis "Dave" [1883-1959]
2--William Alonzo "Lon" Jr. [1885-1979]
3--Ernest A. "Doodle" [1887-1984]
4--Nora [1889-1973]
5--Martin Luther [1892-1968]
6--Claude Lee [1894-1978]
7--Dora Ivey [1897-1994]
8--Otis "Oat" Perry [1900-1967]
9--Hobart Hardy [1902-1903]
10--Alton Parker [1904-1995]
11--Roy Vernon [1906-1993]

FUNERAL RITES HELD FOR MRS. McDANIEL AT STAG CREEK

Funeral services for Mrs. A.L. McDaniel of Sipe Springs, member of the Primitive Baptist Church since 1889, were held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 15 at Stag Creek. The services were conducted by Minister C.L. Casey of Cisco and Minister E.P. McNeil of Mullin.

Mrs. McDaniel, 83, died at the Chambers Memorial Hospital in May at 5 o'clock Sunday, March 14th.

Her marriage to A.L. McDaniel took place on June 8, 1882 and they were companions for almost 66 years.

Survivors are the husband and the following children; Davis McDaniel, Hedley; Lon McDaniel, Sipe Springs; Earnest McDaniel, May; Nora Yancey, Sipe Springs; Martin McDaniel, Sipe Springs Dora Jones, Comanche; Otis McDaniel, Brownwood; Parker McDaniel, Gorman; and Roy McDaniel, Rising Star.

The picture of Lizzie was given to me by her Great-grandson, Fain McDaniel. Fain and I took the picture of the double headstone.
