Margaret R. Bennett
Margaret R. Bennett, 88, of Stewart, died Monday, March 30, 1987 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital. She was a Montgomery native and former Greenwood and Winona resident.
Memorial services were conducted from Wilson and Knight Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 1. Burial was in New Hope Cemetery. She was a member of Dockery Baptist Church.
Survivors include seven daughters, Mrs. Hazel Holland of Orlando, Fla., Mrs. Thelma King and Mrs. Betty Cox, both of Stewart, Mrs. Velma Butler of Holcomb, Mrs. Alma Dunaway and Mrs. Jean Basey, both of Greenwood, and Mrs. Opal Coley of Vicksburg, a son, Tilmon Bennett of Houston, Texas, a sister, Mrs. Lucille McCoy of Winona, 17 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
