Services for Mrs. Marshall Mae Morgan, 56, who died Monday, April 7, 1986, at the Greenwood Leflore Hospital after a long illness, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Williams and Lord Funeral home.
Mrs. Morgan was a native of Montgomery County and had lived in Greenwood for the last 35 years. She was a member of the Lynn Baptist Church and the daughter of Marshall Bennett and Margaret Rogers.
Survivors include her husband, W.M. "Mac" Morgan; three daughters, Mrs. Jeanette Bankston, Mrs. Shirlene Bramlett and Miss Maxine Morgan, all of Greenwood; her mother, Mrs. Margaret Bennett Mae Morgan of Stuart; one brother, Mr. Tillman H. Bennett of Houston, Texas; seven sisters, Mrs. Hazel Holland of Orlando, Fla., Mrs. Betty Cox and Mrs. Thelma King of Stuart, Mrs. Velma Butler of Holcomb, Mrs. Opel Coley of Vicksburg, Mrs. Alma Dunaway and Mrs. Jean Basey of Greenwood.
The Rev. Butch Kelly will officiate at the services. Burial will be in the New Hope Cemetery near Winona.
Pallbearers will be Carl Wiggins, James Ray Vest, Donnie Wilhite, David Johnson, Ray Fillyaw and Buddy Fillyway. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenneth Crestwell and Dr. Michael Boiler.
