Funeral services for Donna Jean Ripperger, 86, of Chariton will be Friday, July 31, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Chariton. Interment will be at the Chariton Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Thursday, from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Lucas County Humane Society or Everystep Hospice in Knoxville.

Donna passed away at home on Saturday, July 25, 2020 surrounded by her family. Donna will be missed by her daughter, Marsha (Jon) Johnson; granddaughters: Chelsey (Jake) Johnson, Shelby Johnson, and Kassidy (Brady) Johnson; 8 great grandchildren: Hayden, Nattaley, Elle, Attleigh, Bryson, Jonah, Jackie, and Jorjia; sister, Lois (LaVerne) Davis; sister-in-law, Anna Anderson; along with many nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and her dog, Harper.
Preceding Donna in death were her parents, Charles and Mary Anderson; husband, Lester Ripperger; children, Mary Ann Ripperger and Mark Ripperger; and siblings: Juanita Bridges, Delores Remster, Charles Anderson, and Leland Anderson.
