Obituary for Juanita Bridges
Juanita Bridges, 86 of Chariton passed away on March 11, 2018 at Legacy Lodge in Chariton.
Betha Juanita Anderson was born to Charles and Mary (Wright) Anderson on July 10, 1931 in Chariton, Iowa. She attended school in Chariton. She was united in marriage to William Darwin Bridges on November 20, 1949 in Chariton, Iowa and to this union three children were born; Kathy, Gene and Ron.
Juanita enjoyed spending time with her family. Some of their favorite times together were spent camping, going on vacations and square dancing. She also loved to attend her children’s sporting events when they were growing up. Juanita helped her mother- in-law on their farm and also worked at Tones Spice in the packaging department for many years.
Juanita is survived by her sons; Gene (Cindy) Bridges of Oak Creek, Wisconsin and Ron (Tina) Bridges of Colfax, Iowa, sisters; Lois (Laverne) Davis and Donna Jean Ripperger, 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and several other extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Mary, husband William Darwin, daughter Kathy, and brothers; Charles Anderson and Leland Anderson.
Funeral service will be Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Chariton. Interment will be in Chariton Cemetery immediately following the service. Family will receive friends on Friday, March 16, 2018 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Pierschbacher Funeral Home.
Memorials may be given to Grace Baptist Church and condolences may be shared at www.pierschbacherfuneralhome.com.
