Edna J. Vedder
Edna June Vedder, 95, of Hutchinson, died January 14, 2020, at Waldron Place, Hutchinson. She was born February 15, 1924, in Nickerson, to Odus Grant and Flora Ann (Brooks) Hill.
Edna was the youngest of 12 children, and graduated from Fairview High School, Fairview, KS, in 1938. She worked at Western Foods on the production line.
Edna is survived by: children, Karen Smith (John) of Hutchinson, Gary Vedder (Pat) of Lewisville, TX, Janice Riddle of Hutchinson, Galen Vedder (Kathy) of Plevna, Marsha Sessions (Tim) of Hutchinson; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; five brothers; six sisters; two grandsons; and one great-grandson.
Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Monday, January 20, 2020, at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5905 W. 4th Avenue, Hutchinson. Friends may call from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Elliott Mortuary.
Memorials may be made to Kindred Hospice, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
