Gaffney, S.C. - Wilma Batchler Porter White, 94, passed away February 17th, 2014 at Magnolias of Gaffney.

Born in Blacksburg, S.C., she was the widow of Lee Porter and Wade White and the daughter of the late Jim Batchler and Una Byars Batchler.

She retired as a housekeeping supervisor and was a member of Eastside Baptist Church.

Surviving Mrs. White are five children, a brother, a sister, nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren; and eleven great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husbands, Mrs. White was preceded in death by a son, David Porter; a daughter, Shirley Sullivan; a granddaughter, Cindy Duncan; two great-grandsons, Michael Williams and Brandon Greene; two brothers, Millege Batchler and Buddy Batchler; and seven sisters, Leatha Moss, Liane Isler, Thelma Philbeck, Elsie Peterson, Flossie Allen, Ollie Lanier, and Malene Upchurch.

Interment will follow at Clingman Memorial Gardens.
