Blacksburg, S.C. – James Oats Batchler, 91, of 120 Batchler Trail, passed away Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014, at his residence.
Born in Blacksburg, he was the widower of Goldie Batchler and son of the late James Alexander Batchler and Euna Byars Batchler.
Mr. Batchler retired from construction and was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.
Surviving Mr. Batchler are four sons, two daughters, a sister, grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Rock Springs Baptist Church. Interment will be in Clingman Memorial Gardens.
