A native of Cherokee County, she was the widow of James Craton Isler and daughter of the late James Leon and Una Byars Batchler.
She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
Surviving are one son, two daughters, one brother, six sisters, six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Milledge Batchler and Alexander "Buddy" Batchler, and two sisters, Ollie B. Lanier and Madeline B. Upchurch.
Burial was in Clingman Memorial Gardens.
