Margaret died young leaving a husband and two young sons. Her husband later died at the age of 44 and his sons were raised by his brother-in-law Francis Boyer. Francis Boyer never married and lived most of his life in the old log house where he was born. Her sons William & Francis Adams quit the Plainfield High School in Linton Township and they joined the military during the Korean War.
William was a Medic in the Navy and Francis was in the Army stationed in Japan.
